Grey Gallows - Press Info
Grey Gallows is a darkwave group based in Patra, Greece. Their influences can be found in the broadest spectrum of the ‘80s – 90’s dark music, blending them with modern electronic sound, crafting angsty arpeggios and creating dense atmosphere through their cold guitar landscapes.
So far, they have released several singles, the self-produced mini album Beyond reflections (2017) and 4 full length albums, Tears (2018, via In Club Records), Shades (2019, via Secret Sin records), Garden of Lies and Strangers (2021 and 2023, both via Cold Transmission).
All those years Grey Gallows have performed live several times, they have supported bands like Covenant, Spiritual Front, Sixth June, Ductape and Antimatter in Greece.
In 2023 they participated at Wave Gotik Treffen festival.
They were also part of Cold Transmission festival in Cologne, Germany, on August 2022, with bands like ULTRA SUNN and IAMTHESHADOW and in Cold Transmission Label night, along with Iamnoone.

In 2024, Grey Gallows continue their journey through dark wave and they present their brand new double single. Here, the Greek duo experiment more with the electronic sound, crafting angsty arpeggios and creating dense atmosphere through their cold synth landscapes.
This time Grey Gallows choose the Greek language to express their thoughts and feelings about life and loss. SAN TI NYCHTA means "like the night", like the hidden emotions that emerge inside all of us in stressful situations, when those feelings seek to pour out from the very depths of our soul.
The video is directed by the master of visual art Nikos Chantzis (PRESS EJECT AND GIVE ME THE TAPE).
Special thanks to Cleopatra Kaido for her collaboration and great vocals at "Nothing to believe".
They are currently finishing their fifth full length album, which will be released by the German label Cold Transmission as well.
